The Center for Internet Security has embarked on a new branding effort to reflect the new services, features, and partnerships they’ll be introducing to meet the cybersecurity needs of both global public and private organizations.
They’ll be shifting the company name from the notoriously known Center for Internet Security to CIS. The updated branding reflects CIS’ long-standing commitment to sharing collective knowledge and innovation and its ability to help members and clients more from compliance to confidence.
“Cyber threats are global but can reach down with intense focus on local targets in both public and private sector organizations. As threats expand globally, so too must the solutions we provide to organizations dealing with these growing threats. Our focus is impact, not profit. We exist to help public and private entities create confidence in a connected world,” said Steve Spano, President and COO of CIS.
Among the updates include the renaming of the Security Benchmarks Membership to the CIS SecureSuit Membership. This new name represents the combination of two recognized industry standards, the powerful CIS Benchmark standards with the globally-recognized guidance of the CIS Controls best practices. As a member of CIS, NNT will now have access to unprecedented insight and guidance on how to protect organizations critical systems against cyber-attacks.
