In a bid to increase cyber security controls and ensure compliance across the board, India, and the US have committed to a strong partnership in regards to cyber issues and promoting the digital economy.
Both countries have identified the opportunities for collaboration in terms of cyber security research and development, in order to combat cybercrime and improve international security and internet governance.
According to a joint statement issued after a two-day 2015 India-United States Cyber Dialogue in Washington, the two countries also intend to seek a multitude of follow-on activities to boost their cyber-security partnership and achieve solid outcomes.
The delegations reviewed a range of issues including cyber-threats, information sharing, incident management, cooperation in efforts to combat cyber-crime and more.
