NNT & the SWIFT Customer Security Controls Framework
Trusted by thousands of financial institutions around the world, SWIFT’s secure messaging products represent one of the pillars of our global finance and banking services. But with the recent string of attacks on SWIFT customers’ local environments, the industry needs to collectively defend against these attacks.
In response to these threats, SWIFT have introduced the SWIFT Customer Security Controls Framework to help support members of the financial community with a set of 16 mandatory and 11 advisory security controls. Organizations are required to annually self-attest compliance with the Mandatory Security Controls, while the Advisory Security Controls are considered security best practices to follow.
The requirements outlined in the SWIFT Customer Security Controls Framework are essential in order to establish a secure baseline for the entire SWIFT community. NNT’s SecureOps suite provides a powerful toolset that helps the financial and banking community comply with many of the mandatory and advisory controls.
Our SecureOps suite allows your organization to ensure full user accountability and privileged escalation processes, while also enabling comprehensive logging and monitoring for privileges user sessions. NNT helps ensure the integrity of systems and network devices by detecting unknown and unexpected changes and maintaining a detailed audit trail of events and changes. Furthermore, NNT will help collect, detect, alert and respond to any suspicious, anomalous activity while helping your organization gain proactive insight into the evolving financial threat landscape.
