NNT Software as a Service (SaaS)

 

NNT’s Software as a service (SaaS) is an alternative to the standard software installation in a customer’s environment (traditional called on-prem or on-premise) where a user has the responsibility of designing, building, testing, deploying and configuring the application(s).

 

 

NNT has created an offering that allows customers to benefit from economies of scale and subscribe to a hosted NNT service.

The advantages include:

Reduced time to benefits

Different from the traditional model, NNT SaaS (application) is already installed and configured. The customer has the advantage of simply subscribing to the hosted service and in a matter of hours, NNT’s application can be ready for use. This reduces the time spent in installation and configuration, and can reduce the issues that can get in the way of a software deployment project.

Lower cost

Operating NNT under a SaaS has tremendous cost benefits since it resides in a hosted environment where costs and resources are shared across a multitenant environment. This enables lower hardware and software license costs as compared to the traditional (on-premise) model.

Maintenance costs are reduced as well given the cost burden for hosting and availability is spread over several installations. Don’t buy the airplane if you can simply purchase a seat.

Scalability and Integration

NNT’s SaaS solution has taken into consideration resource availabiliy to scale with customer demand and provide seamless integration into other management frameworks if necessary. Comparing this with the traditional on-prem model, customers do not have to buy additional hardware or software to operate NNT. From a perspective of capacity planning, a customer would simply subscribe to cover additional target devices and we take care of the rest.

Immediate upgrades and releases

NNT upgrades its SaaS solution as it becomes available for our development team. Costs and effort associated with upgrades and new releases are lower than the traditional on-prem and are completely transparent to the customer.
